POSITION SUMMARY
The Lawn Care Technician must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the supervisor. This position is full time, seasonal. Tasks include, but are not limited to: customer service, safe handling of materials, proper mixing and transporting of materials, First Aid procedures in case of an accident or spillage, proper application of materials, properly diagnosing insect and disease issues, operating all equipment, and ordering materials. Working conditions vary by the job site. Experience is preferred but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site

POSITION SUMMARY
The Landscape Foreman oversees and coordinates project installation directing a crew of two to four employees in a safe manner. Individual must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of landscape construction to include patios, walls, plantings, water features, low voltage lighting, operating equipment, demolition, site and soil prep, grading, planting all materials, interfacing with customers, subcontractors, etc., and require minimal supervision. The Landscape Foreman must also attend to and complete all recordkeeping and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional work atmosphere.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
• Has a minimum of 1 year of experience in landscape construction
• Has the leadership capability and demeanor to effectively manage and train a crew of two to four people
• Excellent customer service skills to interface with customers
• Look for extras and convert them into change orders when appropriate
• Plan, schedule, assign and supervise the duties associated with landscape construction including site and crew management
• Ability to read and execute complex plans labeled with scaled measurements and elevations
• Possess a basic understanding of math and elevations
• Operate a skid loader, saws, edging machines, compactors, and other pertinent machinery, experience is mandatory.
• Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance on company equipment
• Ability to foresee and resolve potential problems

POSITION SUMMARY
The Bilingual Staff Coordinator will possess a written and spoken knowledge of the Spanish language to effectively interpret written material to ensure meaning and context are maintained, create training materials, communicate standard operating and safety procedures, and be the translator for the immigrant workforce (H2B). The individual will coordinate all activities for immigrant staff including assist with living arrangements, weekly grocery store visits, bank account set up, obtaining social security cards and other required documentation and conduct safety and job training. Individual will liaise with immigrant workforce, staff and supervisors to bridge the communication gap and be expected to be present on jobsites to assist with training, address misunderstandings, prevent miscommunication and address any other needs that arise. Hours will vary extensively and range from 20-30 hours per week at the start of the landscape season as training demands are high and then be reduced as the season progresses.

This position is full time, seasonal. The work day starts at 7:00 a.m. and is scheduled as four, 10 hour shifts, using Friday as rain make up days or to complete unfinished tasks. The goal of the Grounds Maintenance team is to keep properties looking like the day the landscape was installed. Varied tasks including pruning, weeding, annual planting and design to add color, top dressing mulch or rock, planting, repairing sod, seeding, edging plant beds and clearing and removing brush will add diversity to your daily routine so you will never be bored. Working conditions vary by the job site. Teams of 2-3 people work together to maintain some of the most beautiful properties in the area. Experience preferred but not required.
