Boxwood is a lovely broadleaf evergreen that adds year-round interest to the landscape. Small, glossy, emerald green leaves form a dense mat that is perfect for formal hedges or sheared into a topiary. Available in upright or globe forms. Prune to maintain shape, or let grow in natural form for a less formal aesthetic.

Prefers rich, well-drained soil with adequate moisture. Apply a layer of mulch to maintain moisture levels in the root zone. Performs best in sunny areas protected from harsh afternoon sun, but can grow in full sun or tolerate dappled shade. Deer resistant.
