Considered to be a "living fossil", fossil records of ginkgo trees date back as much as 270 million years. Unique, fan-shaped leaves provide lovely grace and texture to the landscape, turning bright gold in fall. Sometimes avoided by homeowners due to the messy, foul-smelling fruits produced in late summer, all of our stock are grafted non-fruiting male selections.

Sturdy, adaptable, and without any major pest or disease issues, ginkgo trees are tough and easy to grow. Grow in any average, moderate moisture soil with full sun. Will tolerate alkaline or acidic soils, pollution, and salt spray. Slow growing, ginkgo may grow sparsely in early years but once established are an excellent choice of ornamental shade tree. Deer resistant.
