As needed, we will use a power rake to remove thatch and natural occurring dead material in your lawn. Some thatch is beneficial to lawns, but too much blocks water, air and nutrients from reaching the soil. If thatch gets thicker than 1/2" deep, the roots of the turf grow into the thatch instead of into the soil. Power raking is done in the spring before the new growth begins so it will not cause damage to your turf. All debris from the lawn will be removed and hauled away. This service will only be offered with our mowing or spring clean-up service.
