Employee Benefits
River City Lawnscape full-time employees, working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment. Benefits are available year round to accommodate the seasonal nature of the business.
Health Insurance
River City lawnscape provides employees the following plan option(s). Employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for these health benefits. We offer a copay plan as well as a high deductible health plan. A health savings account (hsa) can be set up when choosing the high deductible health plan.
Dental Insurance
River City Lawnscape offers full time employees the opportunity to enroll in a dental plan through delta dental. River city lawnscape, inc. Contributes 50% of the premium for dental insurance. When enrolled in the delta dental plan, you have access to a vision discount plan. This is not insurance but rather a discount program.
Vision Insurance
River City Lawnscape provides the opportunity for full-time employees to enroll in vision coverage through delta vision/eye med.
Life insurance
Employer paid life insurance and ad&d from unum insurance company
River City Lawnscape provides full-time employees working 20 hours or more per week with a $10,000 life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment benefit at a shared cost.
Voluntary life insurance and ad&d from unum insurance company
River City Lawnscape offers employees who work 30 hours or more per week the oppurtunity to enroll in voluntary life and accidental death and dismemberment (ad&d) insurance. The benefit is offered on a group basis which offers a lower premium for employees who are interested in purchasing additional life insurance.
24-hour Accident Insurance
An accident can wreak havoc on your savings if you are not prepared. That is why we offer accident insurance. It gives you a cushion to help cover medical expenses and living costs when you get hurt unexpectedly. As a River City Lawnscape employee you have the option to purchase supplemental accident coverage through allstate. Participation is voluntary, you pay 100% of the cost.
Mental Health Support Services
Mental health support services provided by erc: counselors & consultants at no cost to you. This service allows 8 visits/appointments per condition. All services are strictly confidential and no identifying information is provided to your employer. ERC is hippa compliant. ERC has its own team of licensed counselors as well as a network of proprietary counselors throughout the nation to assist wherever you are located.
Retirement Savings Plan
All employees receiving at least $5,000 in compensation during any one prior calendar year, and who are reasonably expected to make $5,000 in compensation during the current calendar year, are eligible to participate in the plan through american funds. River City Lawnscape will match up to, but not exceed, 3% of pre-tax employee compensation. These contributions are 100% vested upon being made. Contributions are made on a per payroll basis.
